A nine mile tale

In 2000, we visited Nine Miles & saw the condition of the Basic School. In 2002, we completely rebuilt the 1st classroom & fenced the property. In 2004, we built the school pavilion. In 2005, we built the 2nd classroom, with a storage area at the lower level. We also built a kitchen and toilets.

9 Mile

As water is a very precious resource in the area, we installed waterless toilets & urinals. In 2006 and 2007, we completed the 3rd classroom, which is designed with an office, storage area and tuck shop at the lower level. To assist in making the last building multi-purpose, we built 2 sinks into the classroom, 1 sink into the office and 1 into the Tuck Shop. We design this feature in order to accomodate the bi-annual Clinic and Health Fair.
